沖縄県北部地域で地域活動に参加していない一人暮らし男性高齢者が語る死生観 A study of view of death by aged men living alone who doing not participate in community activities in the northern part of Okinawa 溝口, 広紀 大城, 凌子 open access 一人暮らし 男性高齢者 死生観 孤立死 living alone elderly men view of life and death solitary death 本研究の目的は，地域活動に参加していない一人暮らし男性高齢者の死生観の構造を明らかにし，その人らしさを大切にしたエンドオブライフケアへの示唆を得ることである． 　地域活動に参加していない一人暮らし男性高齢者７名に半構造化面接調査を実施し，質的統合法（KJ法）を用いて分析した．結果，【回避してきた関係性：周囲へ気兼ねして自ら選んだ孤立】，【生活苦を凌ぐ拠り所：ストレスを紛らわすささやかな楽しみ】，【独りで生きる覚悟：周りに迷惑をかけずに自立して生活したい】，【厭世的な思い：身近に死を感じる体験に伴う人生への憂い】，【つなぎとめている関係：苦しい生活を支えてくれる数少ないつながり】，【最期を迎える心構え：死（死後）を語ることによる安堵】の６つのシンボルマークが抽出された．一人暮らし男性高齢者は，【独りで生きる覚悟】を内在し生活しているが，死を身近に感じる体験から【厭世的な思い】も抱いていた．その一方で，【つなぎとめている関係】にある他者（友人・知人）に，死への不安や死後の対処を語ることで安堵し，【最期を迎える心構え】につながることが明らかになった． 　地域活動に参加していない一人暮らし男性高齢者への支援として，死後の後始末を託せるつながりを保つことと，独りで死ぬことも含め，その人らしい死のあり様として受容できる看取りの文化を醸成していくことが，その人らしさを大切にしたエンドオブライフケアに繋がる． Purpose: This study examines the views of life and death of elderly men who had been living alone without participating in community activities, and explores possible end-of-life care options that value their human personality. Methods: Semi-structured interviews were held with aged men who live alone and do not participate in community activities in northern part of Okinawa. They were asked about their views on deaths and results were analyzed using the qualitative unification methods （KJ）. Results and Considerations: They had【Prepared to live alone】. However, he harbored 【Pessimism】due to near-death experience. On the other hand, they had a view of life and death in which they wanted to 【Preparations for the final days】 by talking about their anxieties and life to their【Relationships that hold you together】, such as trusted friends and acquaintances. It is important to maintain a relationship with the person who will take care of the aftermath of death.
