 note = {近年今帰仁城跡の郭内から、統一王朝以前にこの城を本拠とした勢力の出自に関係すると見られる品々が出土している。かかる出土物の中で生活、宗教、軍装備、娯楽、装身具などと関わる品目は、一様に元朝に仕えて江南地方で活躍した西域出自の色目人との関わりを示唆する特徴に彩られている。関係する出土物の一つに異色の十字紋をあしらった青花と呼ばれる元朝期の器が存在する。本稿では、この十字紋の装いに看取されるギリシャ趣味及び騎馬文化の要素を手掛かりとして、この十字紋と元朝期の江南地方に駐屯した色目系騎馬軍団、なかんずくキリスト教徒勢力として名を馳せたアラン(阿速)衛都兵団、との関係について考証する。, A number of excavated items from the site of Nakijin Castle clearly reveal that the ruling clan occupying the castle prior to the advent of a unified kingdom in Okinawa consisted of a highly sophisticated militant group of men of foreign origin. Among the excavated items relating to life, religion, military equipment, entertainment, ornament and so forth which suggest their distinct connection with the Yuan period, there exists the image of a Christian cross drawn on a piece of porcelain.
