This study investigated 43 students in two advanced-level listening classes (A and B). Listening logbooks, a listening report paper and a STEP 2nd grade listening test were used for the inquiry. Analysis of results showed that the average listening time was 453.3 minutes. According to listening reports, 81.4% of students selected materials according to their own listening level, and 66.6% of students selected materials according to their own level. 90.7% of students responded, \"Enjoyed graded listening\". However, the STEP 2nd grade pre-test and post-test scores were not significantly different. According to the responses in listening reports, 91.2% selected stories as graded listening materials. \"English Adventure Series\" graded extensive listening stories were the most popular.
