The main purposes of this project are to provide a better understanding of this classic piece and hopefully to draw fresh interest of the Japanese classics into the young audience. The entire book is composed of fifty four chapters. Among them, four components, (chapter 1 Kiritsubo, chapter 4 Yuugao, chapter 5 Wakamurasaki, and Fijitsubo) are selected and each is summarized in poems or songs, and is created into a 5 minute long drama.
