| 内容記述 | 障害児施設を利用した小児看護実習において、看護を実践した学生の日々の実習記録やカンファレンス、振り返りレポートの内容から障害観の変化を明らかにした。実習初期の学生の認識は、障害のある子どもと保育所の子どもが｢同じよう｣であるとし、子どもとの距離をとっていた。障害についてはこれまでの体験や知識から"障害のある子ども"という固定的な見方、考え方がみられた。実習経過とともに、子どものもつ能力、力に学生が合わせ、引き出すという、学生自身が関わることにより子どもの行動が変化する過程を認識していった。最終日には、個別性の理解と個に応じた援助の工夫がみられ、子どもの生活という視点が導きだされ、看護援助につながっていた。実習最終日のカンファレンスでは、これまで使っていた"障害"ということばが消え、｢その子｣｢○○ くん｣という個別の表現に変化していた。これらの結果から、看護学生の障害理解の認識は一般的な障害理解のプロセスとして提示されている徳田らの障害理解の段階と同様のプロセスをたどっていることが明らかになった。さらに、病名やカルテの情報をもとに看護援助を組み立てるというこれまでの実習を振り返り｢情報とは何か｣、さらに｢看護する｣｢援助する｣とは何かを真剣に考えていた。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | The changes in views regarding disability held by students working at facilities for disabled children were tracked, on the basis of their daily records, meetings and reports. Initially, they looked on the disabled children as ordinary children, while keeping some distance from them. Because of previous experiences and knowledge, they had stereotypical ideas about"the disabled". However as they spent more time at the facility, the students became more and more involved in the children's activities, and came to have a better understanding of their capacities. At the same time, the children changed in their behavior towards the students. On the final day, students were familiar with each individual child and able to support each through awareness of individual needs. The students also had a better general idea of what it is to be a child, which also helped them. In the final meeting, students didn't use the word "disability", but rather used the children's names to refer to each child. These results confirm the process described by Mr.Tokuda in his work on the process of coming to understand disability. The students also had the opportunity to reflect on their previous nursing practices,including the use of medical and clinical records,and stated they seriously intended to consider further what "information", "support" and "nursing" really are. | |||||
