A learning structure was demonstrated based on the relationships between the following 6 identified categories of student learning experience: 1) Learning through independent study: appreciating the necessity of basic training-related knowledge and the comprehensibility of the training;2) Learning to communicate: reconstructing knowledge and developing explanations; 3) Challenges in training preparation: insufficient organization of knowledge and confirmation of materials; 4) Challenges in training: insufficient knowledge of training items outside the area of responsibility;5) Challenges for practical training: utilizing training; and 6) Learning to relate to children: relating in a manner appropriate to the child's developmental stage. The results suggested that incorporation of the jigsaw learning method enabled students to approach training with a sense of responsibility, to consider how to communicate clearly, and to identify challenges independently, which was conducive to independent learning.
