Methods: The subject sample included 18 students who took a course in end-of-life nursing care that adopted the End-of-Life Nursing Education Consortium - Japan (ELNEC-J). Investigations included the Japanese version of the Frommelt Attitudes Towards Care of Dying scale for medical professionals conducted a total of three times, i.e. before and after the course, then two weeks later, as well as using free descriptions. For total scores and subscales, pre- and post-course scores were compared by Wilcoxon signed rank test using the statistical software SPSS Statistics ver.25 with median values ［interquartile range］, and a p value of < 0.05 was considered statistically significant. Content analysis was performed for qualitative data. Results: Before and after the course, responses were obtained from 17 students. Total scores significantly increased from 112 ［106－115］ pre-lecture to 127 ［119－130］ post- lecture（p<0.001）.
