Method：A self-administered anonymous questionnaire regarding home-bound people was conducted with 1,209 home-bound elderly people. It were distributed to 343 subjects （response rate:28.3%）. A logistic regression analysis was performed with setting “Non-Home-Bound （Self-Supported） Group” and “Preliminary Home-Bound Group” as dependent variables excluding those already in the state of “Home-Bound”. Result： They consisted of 242 “Non-Home-Bound （Self-Supported） Group” （78.1%） and 68 “Preliminary Home-Bound Group” （21.9%）. The forced entry method was applied to the following items，As an explanatory variable : Basic Attributions【Age/Presence of Long-Term Care Insurance System/Economic Status】， Physical Items【Presence of Pain/Presence of Fall/Hearing Ability】, Outing-Related Items【Main Outing Purposes/Driven by Subject】and Psychological Items【Subjective Sense of Well-being/Tendency of Depression】. Consequently, a significant correlation was found in the following categories: Age （OR:1.112，95%; CI:1.019-1.214），Presence of Pain （OR:7.661，95%; CI:1.702-34.480）， Hearing Ability （OR: 18.108， 95%; CI:2.321-141.286），Subjective Sense of Well-being （OR:0.300 95%;CI: 0.103-0.874）.
