| 内容記述 | 精神障害を抱える，暴力的な息子との生活を再開する母親がどのような状況に至っているのかを明らかにするために、母親の語りを質的に分析した．息子の暴力に怯えて自宅への退院を強く拒否していた母親は，治療の奏効と再入院の保証にあと押しされて，息子との暮らしを再開するにあたって，次の５つの状況に至っていた．①自らの人生は運命である．②息子に暴力を振るわれても，なるようになる．③自分のことは自分でするために運動をはじめた．④人のことが怖いが，そう言ってはいられない，どうにでもなれと開き直った．⑤息子に自分のことは自分でするようにさとすが，聞き入れないので，「扱いにくい」と感じて，「このばか」と突き放した．母親が至った状況とは，精神障害を抱える息子の世話を引き受けるという覚悟であり，それはすっかりとは知ることのできない（incomprehensibilitas），他人を引き受けて生きるという選択であった．自己の個別性や多様性が尊重される社会であれば，精神障害を抱える人の世話をするということが可能になると考えられる．同時に，他人により暴力を振るわれる可能性も引き受けることになる． | |||||||||||

| 内容記述 | To clarify what kind of situation mothers who resumed living with her violent son who suffer from mental disorders, we qualitatively analyzed mothers’ narrative. We present the case of a mother who was frightened by the violence of her son and strongly refused discharge to home. Subsequently, she was encouraged by successful treatment and readmission guarantee to resume living with her son, which resulted in the following five beliefs in her: （1） my life is my fate; （2） even if my son uses violence, whatever happens may happen; （3） I have started exercise to do personal work by myself;（4） I was afraid of people, but I cannot afford to continue living this way; therefore, I became defiant that “I don’t care.”; and （5） I tried to make my son take care of himself, but he did not listen to me. I found it “hard to handle,” and I turned away from him saying, “You are stupid.” The situation that the mother has reached is the determination to take care of her son with a mental disorder, and that is the choice to live by taking on others who do not understand（incomprehensibilitas）. Although it is possible to take care of people with mental disorders in a society where individuality and diversity are respected, caregivers take on the possibility of being a victim of violence by others. | |||||||||||
