When we try to define \"urbanization\" as a scientific term, however, we come into problems, partly due to the fact that \"urbanization\" has become a popular word of daily conversation, leading to a rather hazy concept. In this paper, following two models of urbanization, one by K. Davis who uses the term \"urbanization\" as referring to \"the proportion of the total population concentrated in urban settlements, or else to a rise in this proportion,\" and another by L. Wirth who takes urbanization as the development of \"urbanism\", leading to a Gesellschaft-like community, we try to analyze problems related to the concept of urbanization.
