| 内容記述 | This practical lesson took place in a fourth-grade social studies class, which focused on the achievements of the forefathers who devoted themselves to the development of the local community. In Uruma City, Okinawa, is the Kaichu Doro ('road through the sea') which connects Katsuren Peninsula and Henza Island. The construction of this roadway was complete after the hardships endured by the local people; the forefathers. The children learned through this lesson that by the construction of this road, the difficulties of life on the remote island were greatly improved. | |||||
