| 内容記述 | 近年，多くの教育機関が学習あるいは教育支援センターを設置しているが，日本の学習センターにおいては，学習支援者(以下チューターと呼ぶ)のほとんどが専門教職員あるいは大学院生となっている。アメりカではすでに約40年前からピアラーニングの研究が進められ，学習支援者への育成プログラムを開発しチューターとしての技術取得証明書を基準化し発行するシステム(International Tutor Training Program Certificate) も活用されている。沖縄県名護市の名桜大学にある言語学習センターは2002年にこのプログラムを導入し，それを基盤にチューター育成プログラムを実施している。このプログラムの効果を観測するために2011年7月に言語学習センターに実際に働いているチューター7名とチュータリングを利用した学生142名にアンケートを実施した。結果としてチューターはトレーニングを受けることでコミュニケーションスキルや学習支援技術の向上を実感し，学習支援を受けた学生もチューターの支援によって学力向上に役立ったと感じていることがわかった。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | Recently, Learning Support Centers have been established in many educational institutions. The most of the learning supporters -tutors- are part time or full time experts, instructors or graduates. Peer learning has been studied in United States for 40 years and they have developed the tutor training program and applied into the actual stage. The Language Learning Center in Meio University is the one that has been introduced the tutor training program from United State in 2002. In order to observe some effect on tutors through the trainings, the surveys were performed with seven tutors and 142 students who actually experienced tutoring by tutors in 2011. The result showed that the tutors felt that their communication skills and learning support\nskills had been inlproved. Likewise, the students who experienced tutoring gave positive result that they appreciated the tutors' support and felt that their academic skills also improved. | |||||
