| 内容記述 | Local councils and organizations throughout Japan are stimulating their regions by introducing the information technology. An advanced information society is one in which anyone can have access to information anytime from anywhere. The internet and the Multimedia world it entails are steadily permeating into business activities and everyday life. Yanbaru-net, instigated by the authors in September 1997, was the first step in this process for the region of Yanbaru in northern Okinawa. In this paper we report the details of its establishment, and consider both its effect, through the reactions of the residents and users, and the course of future work. | |||||
