| 内容記述 | 情報化の進展に伴い､企業では経営活動に関わる情報が膨大な量で蓄積されるようになっている｡これに伴い､このように収集した膨大な情報から如何に次のビジネスの種をみつけるかが企業の命運を制することとなる｡これはデータマイニングと呼ばれる分野で､近年産業界の注目を集めている｡昨年来､地元の小売業の協力を得て､POSデータを分析し､顧客の購買パターンの分析を行った｡この報告では､その試みの中での発見事項を紹介すると共に､データマイニングの意義およびデータマイニングに取り組む際の考慮点を考察する｡ | |||||

| 内容記述 | The more information is used in every corner of industry, the greater the amount of information relating to business activities is accumulated in business organizations. The fate of a company will be sealed according to how it can dig out of accumulated data the seed of the next business opportunity. This is known as data mining. It has been attracting the growing attention of industry. Since last year, with the cooperation of a retailer, a project has been under taken to analyze the patterns of buying behavior of customers using POS data.
