| 内容記述 | 本研究では、価値観や統制感に影響を及ぼすライフイベントとしての入院経験に注目し、沖縄県在住の入院患者104名、通院患者43名、およびナース、学生を含む健常者166名、計313名を対象に、健康行動に関する自己効力感、統制感、価値観について調査した。その結果、入院患者群が他の２群に比べ、健康および疾患に対する対処行動について高い自己効力感を示した。また、健康・疾患に関する統制感においても、入院患者群では、自己への内的帰属を除いて、家族や医師などの他者、さらに神仏や運など外的・不安定要因への帰属傾向がいずれも高かった。入院患者にとって、健康や疾患への対処の問題は、健常者や通院患者に比べ、より強い関心を喚起していると考えられる。価値観については、３つの調査対象群間で選択傾向に大きな差違は認められなかった。入院患者において特徴的なのは、終局的価値における「家族の保護」および「快楽」を重視する者が相対的に多く、一方、「自由」を重視する者は少ない。道具的価値については「清潔であること」を重視する者が入院患者で顕著に多かった。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | We conducted a survey of 313 adults, consiting of 104 inpatients, 43 outpatients, and a normal group of 166 nurses and students, in order to assess the effects of hospitalization as a significant life event upon personal values and the sense of control. The results indicated that the inpatients showed greater efficacy in dealing with the matters of health and illness than the other two groups. With regard to the sense of control of health and illness, the inpatients tended more to attribute externally to the others such as family members and doctors, and, furthermore, to deity and luck that are external and unstable causes of health and illness, with the exception of the internal attribution to self. It is speculated that stronger interest in the matters of health and illness is aroused in the inpatients than in the normal and outpatient groups. There was no substantial difference among the three groups with regard to personal value. The inpatients tended to value more Family-Security and Pleasure, but less Freedom among the Terminal Values than the other two groups. With regard to the Instrumental Values, the inpatient group exhibited marked tendency to emphasize being Clean. | |||||
