| 内容記述 | 本研究は，平成19年度総合研究所一般研究「北部地区における遠隔看護支援システムに関する研究」に続く研究である。学外システムを利用した実験研究から，学内システム（遠隔会議システム）の導入へと大学独自の整備を行った。しかし，これらのシステムを活用できる人材育成と実践的教育が必要であることが示唆された。そこで，沖縄県北部地区離島・へき地に勤務する看護職者を中心とした保健医療福祉の関係者を対象にICT出前公開講座を実施した。さらに参加した保健医療福祉関係者とともに健康課題等について話し合い，課題解決に向けた看護実践を補完する遠隔支援の検討を行った。また行政ニーズとしての「健康いへや21」策定を行った結果，4つの基本目標とコンテンツが示唆された。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | To expand and build upon our use of web-based audio-video telecommunication to support remote nursing education in the field in isolated areas and islands in the northern region of Okinawa's main island, we found that remote-site users needed to become more skilled and comfortable in using the system. With a grant from Meio University Research Institute, we provided four hands-on training seminars in 2008 for health professionals in northern Okinawa's remote areas and islands. With on-site and remote support from our nurslng faculty members and IT specialists durlng the seminars, participants gained skills in using the system and became more comfortable and confident users. Subsequently, they and other remote-site health workers and community members participated with us in videoconference sessions during which we considered how the system could be used to conceptualize, develop and implement nursing practices and community activities to reduce some high priority health problems in those remote areas. The result was a proposed plan called "Healthy Iheya 21". Developed in keeping with national and prefectural initiatives to promote and improve community health, the plan has four themes: "Healthy lifestyles begin in childhood", "Preventing lifestyle related diseases in working-age people", "Active lives for the elderly on remote islands", and "Appropriate health services for all generations". We believe that the participatory approach to developing the proposed plans, with support from nursing faculty through webbased videoconferencing, has increased community ownership and understanding and therefore the likelihood of successful and sustainable implementation of the plans. | |||||
