| 内容記述 | 沖縄県やんばる地域における看護・介護職を対象に，方言使用に関する認識と課題を明らかにし，高齢者ケアにおける方言の効果的な使用に関する基礎資料を得ることを目的にアンケート調査を実施した。対象は，やんばる地域の12ケ所の病院・施設に勤務する看護・介護職763人である。結果，方言使用の実態は，方言を話すことはできないが意味はわかると答えた人は54.0％で最も多く，方言を話せないし意味もわからないは28.0％，方言を話すことができ意味もわかると答えた割合は18.0％であった。日常ケアの中では，方言の意味に関係なく標準語を使用している者が多かった。方言がわからないために，困った経験を有する人は6割を占め，29歳以下の若い世代や，県外出身者に多くみられた。困った経験の内容は，【患者の痛みの訴えがわからず，理解するのに時間がかかる】，【不穏・精神状態が悪化している場合に上手く対応できない】などであり，その結果，患者を怒らせたり拒否されるなど，身体的・精神的苦痛を与えてしまう恐れがあると考えられた。一方で，方言使用の効果として，高齢者から話しかけてくれたり，表情が活き活きとなり親近感，温かみやその場の雰囲気を和ませたりする効果があった。今後は，看護・介護ケアの場面で使用頻度の高い方言や支障をきたしている場面を明らかにし，方言を使用したケアの介入について検討していく必要がある。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | The purpose of this study is to refine the problems and recognize the effects on using dialects in the nursing in Northern area in Okinawa and to get the basic data of the effective use of dialects in elderly nursing care. In order to obtain the data, Questionnaire survey was applied. The subjects were the 763 nurses and workers at the 12 hospitals and rehabilitation centers in the northern Okinawa area. As the result, 54.0% was the most and the subjects comprehend but not capable to converse in the dialects, 28.0% of them were incapable of both comprehend and converse, and 18% were capable of both comprehend and converse in dialects. In the caring of the daily life situation, there were more subjects who converse in the standard Japanese without relating to their meanings of words. The number of the subjects who experienced hard time to communicate was 60.0% and many of them were under 29 year-old or outsiders. The problems were "it takes much time to understand what symptoms patients are telling" and "Not easy to deal with the patients in deterioration of sedition or mental status", and these problems led to the consequence of making the patients upset or reject the treatments that might have given the patients physical pain or emotional distress while the patients became lively and the atmospheres of Sense of intimacy and warmness had increased. Discovering frequently used vocabulary or phrases in dialects at the nursing situation and other problems will be the next study, and it is significant to investigate about intervention of the care and nursing with using dialects. | |||||
