| 内容記述 | 近年，沖縄県ではリピーター観光客や団塊世代の定年者の増加によって移住者が増加しつつある。移住者は，消費者であるとともに地域のまちづくりや地域振興に対するステークホルダーであり，従来の地域住民と異なった意向を有している可能性がある。そこで，本稿では，沖縄県における移住者の属性および意向を抽出する簡便的な定量調査方法論の吟味を行った。具体的には，地域における移住者意向の重要性を考察した後，地域における総移住者数の代替的指標を用いたサンプル調査の標本数を統計学的に決定した。その後，沖縄県における姓名の特殊性を利用し，住宅地図からのサンプリング方法の提案を行った。事例研究として，沖縄県北部地域を対象として，移住者的中率や移住目的，年齢，世帯構成，居住年数，地域活動参加率などの基礎指標の抽出を試みた。移住者調査では、465票を配布して196票回収、移住者票は126票であった。調査結果における主な基礎指標としては、移住者的中率が64.3％、自発的移住目的における「自然・気候」や「憧れ」などがそれぞれ29.4％、27.8％となり、地域活動参加率では自治会参加率において35.7％であった。移住者的中率や回答者の基礎指標に基づき、沖縄県における移住者意向調査の一つの方法としての有効性を検討した。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | Increasing numbers of non-Okinawan Japanese are moving to Okinawa after they retire, including many members of the post-war "baby-boom generation" and many persons who have visited Okinawa several times as tourists. Non-Okinawan Japanese living in Okinawa become not only local consumers but also stakeholders for community development and promotion, and their ideas, preferences and activities and lifestyles might differ from those of the local Okinawa-born population. After reviewing existing documents and data, we estimated the total number of non-Okinawans living in Northern Okinawa, calculated an appropriate sample size, and conducted a quantitative rapid-survey regarding the lifestyles (especially health -related activities) of a sample of registered households with non-Okinawan Japanese surnames found on local "house-hold maps". Of the 465 target households, 196 could be contacted, 126 were found to include one or more non-Okinawan Japanese now living in Okinawa, and a full interview could be conducted with such a person in all 126 of those households. The interviews covered their reasons for living in Northern Okinawa, their community activities, and their lifestyles and preferences. As reasons for moving to Okinawa, 55.6% of interviewees included jobs and/or marriage and only 29.4% included "attractive nature" and/or climate. Only 35.7% of interviewees reported attending local community activities (resident's association, elderly activities, women's union, etc.). We found that surname-based surveys could be effective, with some limitations, for targeting non-Okinawan Japanese living in Okinawa. | |||||
