| 内容記述 | ｢カヌードスの乱｣と｢島原の乱｣は､共に農民一揆という性格があり､また宗教的要因を含有しながら千年王国主義的思想をその根底に持っていたことなど､共通する点が多く見られる｡本稿では､両乱のような大衆運動を従来の政治的､経済的考察からではなく､社会史的観点から両乱が日常態から非日常態へと変化していく契機を集合心性の面から探り､加えて千年王国運動の側からも考察してみたい｡ | |||||

| 内容記述 | The Canudos Revolt and the Shimabara Revolt share important features: they both involved farmers, and they both took on aspects of the millennium movement derived from their own religious aspirations. Shifts from ordinary to catastrophic stages, and the formative processes similar to those of the millennium movement in these two revolts have already been examined from political and economic perspectives. However, in this paper, these shifts and processes are analyzed in terms of a collective mentality, which is a key concept in the theory of social history. | |||||
