| 内容記述 | 目的： 看護師が捉える終末期がん患者の「その人らしさ」の概念を明らかにし，終末期がん患者の看護実践の活用可能性を検討する。方法： Rodgersの概念分析法を用いた。データ収集には医学中央雑誌Web版を用いて検索用語「その人らしさ」「終末期」「がん」「看護」で全年度検索を行った。さらにハンドサーチの文献を加え，計14件を分析対象とした。結果： 終末期がん患者の「その人らしさ」の概念の属性として［生き方や価値観］［生きがい］［スピリチュアリティ］［自己決定］［これまで通りの日常の希求］の５つのテーマ，先行要件として２つのテーマ，帰結として３つのテーマが抽出された。さらに，影響要素として［終末期の限られた命の時間］などの３つのテーマが抽出された。分析の結果，終末期がん患者の「その人らしさ」とは，「その人の生きがいや価値観，スピリチュアリティが，がんにより命の時間が限られることで揺らぎ苦悩しながらも他者と人生を振り返ることで生きる意味を見出し，自己決定により浮き出された自らが求める生き方の様相」と定義した。結論： 終末期がん患者の「その人らしさ」の定義は，患者理解につながり［その人らしい人生の終焉］を支える看護実践に活用できる可能性がある。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | OBJECTIVE: The objective of this study was to identify the concept of “personality” in terminal cancer patients from a nurse’s perspective, and to examine possible practical nursing applications when caring for terminal cancer patients. METHOD: A concept analysis was performed using the Rodgers method. Data was collected from database Ichushi Web with keywords: “personality”, “terminal”, “cancer” and “nursing”. A total of 14 articles were analyzed, including articles identified by a hand-search. RESULTS: As the attributes of the concept of “personality” of terminal cancer patients, five themes (e.g., ［life style and values］, ［reason for living］, ［spirituality］, ［self-determination］, ［daily desires continuing as normal］, two themes as prerequisites, and three themes as conclusions were extracted. In addition, three themes such as “limited lifespan and end of life” were extracted as the effect factor. The results of the analysis revealed that the “personality” of terminal cancer patients is defined as “finding the significance of life, values, and spirituality of the person by looking back on life with others while experiencing distress at limited lifespan due to cancer and visible aspect of way of life by self-determination”. CONCLUSION: The definition of “personality” in terminal cancer patients leads to patient understanding, and there is a possibility that it can be used for nursing practice that supports ［personalized end of life care］. | |||||
