| 内容記述 | 本研究の目的は、小学校と中学校の英語の文法的な特徴について言語知識と言語処理の第二言語習得研究から分析して英文法指導の接続を探る。小学校の共通教材と検定教科書の合計16冊と中学校検定教科書６冊の分析および小学校授業観察を用いて分析を行なった。調査結果は、小学校の教科書で提示される文型は身近な話題や目的について焦点化し、文法的な特徴は重要な役割を果たさない。中学校では、文法規則や用法が文法用語を用いて明示的かつ体型的に最初から提示されており、小学校と大きな違いがある。小学校と中学校の接続への示唆として、学習者が文法的な特徴を分析できる能力を身に付け、教師は明示的指導に留まらず、文法的特徴が英文の意味や機能、言語使用に重要で意味のある役割を果たす指導の工夫が必要である。 | |||||||||

| 内容記述 | The purpose of this study is to seek the link of English grammar teaching between elementary and junior high schools through an inquiry into grammatical features based on language knowledge and language processing theories in second language research. This study used 16 elementary school textbooks and 6 junior high school textbooks as well as elementary classroom observations. The results showed that sentence structures in elementary school textbooks do not play an important role, and they instead focused on familiar topics and objectives. From the beginning of junior high school, grammar rules and usage are explained explicitly and systematically by using grammar terms. An implication for the link between elementary and junior high schools is that students should develop their own ability to analyze grammatical features and teachers should not end up giving explicit grammar knowledge, but create a teaching intervention to make grammatical features salient and meaningful for sentence meaning, function and language use. |
