| 内容記述 | 本研究では、学生がハンセン病問題の講義を受け、講義の内容から何を学び、その学んだ内容についてどのように感じ、考えたのか学生が講義後に回答したWebアンケート調査の自由記述の内容を分析し、講義後の学びの様相を明らかにする事を目的とする。 本講義を受講したA大学の学生129名を対象にWebアンケート調査を実施し66名から回答が得られた（有効回答率：51.2％）。分析の結果、学生は講義の中で、入所者が偏見差別を受けてきた歴史的背景や強制堕胎、去勢手術、胎児のホルマリン漬けなどの非人道的な医療処置の実際について話を聞き【初めて知った詳細な偏見差別の内容】に衝撃を受けた。学生は、詳細な偏見差別の内容を学んだことで【学生自身の差別意識】について考える機会となり、そのことが学生の自己内省へ繋がっていた。学生は、ハンセン病問題を学び、衝撃的な体験をし、自身の差別意識について考え、自己を内省するプロセスを辿ったことで、入所者の思いに対し共感的に理解を深めていた。学生は、入所者に共感的に理解を深めたことで、これまで偏見差別を受け苦難の人生を生き抜いてきた【入所者への感謝と敬意】を表し、今後【入所者が安心して幸せに暮らせることへの願い】を込め、【ハンセン病問題に対する啓発への思い】に繋がっていた。 |

| 内容記述 | The purpose of this study is to clarify what students learned from the lecture on leprosy, how they felt and thought about what they learned, and what they learned after the lecture by analyzing the contents of free descriptions in the web questionnaire that the students answered after the lecture. A web-based questionnaire survey was conducted among 129 students from University A who attended this lecture, and 66 students responded （valid response rate: 51.2％）. As a result of the analysis, students were told in the lecture about the historical background of prejudice discrimination against the residents and the actual inhumane medical procedures such as forced abortion, castration, and formalin immersion of fetuses, and were shocked by "the details of prejudice discrimination that they learned for the first time". Students learned the details of prejudice discrimination. This provided an opportunity for students to think about "their own discriminatory mindset". This led to their self-reflection. The students learned about the issues surrounding leprosy, experienced shocking experiences, and thought about their own discriminatory attitudes. Through this process of self-reflection, they were able to deepen their understanding of the feelings of the inmates in a sympathetic way. The students, by sympathetically deepening their understanding of the inmates, expressed their "gratitude and respect for the inmates" who have suffered prejudice and discrimination and have lived through a life of hardship, and they also embraced "the hope for the inmates to live happily and safely" and "the desire to raise awareness of the leprosy issue". |
