| 内容記述 | The purpose of this paper is to analyze the reality of U.S. military bases in the northern region of Okinawa prefecture. It is an old controversy for Okinawans whether U.S. military bases are an advantage or disadvantage for the prefecture. However, the development of the northern region has grown in significance at both the prefectural and national levels since Camp Schwab has been selected as the site where Futenma Marine Airbase will relocate in the future. Therefore, in order to study and prepare properly for the development of the northern region, it is important to analyze the relationship of military bases to neighboring municipalities in terms of financial benefits to local communities, as well as reutilization plans for the sites after the military leave. | |||||
